Rosa Hovhannisyan-a talented Armenian poet was born in Gyumri, Armenia in 1961. Has studied at Yerevan State University, department of philology and received a qualification of a literary critic.
From 1983-1985 has studied at Yerevan state University, department of social professions/faculty of art history and received a qualification of an art historian.
Member of the writers' union of Armenia since 2001 and chief editor of 'Eghegan Pogh' newspaper. Has published a collection of poems under the title 'Feature on black'. This collection brought her the literary prize of Daniel Varoujan.
Editorial work for Gyumri International Biennial catalogs in 2002 and 2004.
Another collection of poems was published in 2006. Some of her poems were translated in Italian and Russian. Author of numerous scientific works and publications.
